I like his story of motorcycling! Check it out!
"Jack then prepared a 125cc BSA Bantam for me, which I rode in open-to-centre trials most Sundays and a few Nationals when I could get a Saturday off from my job as a hospital laboratory technician" Looks like a bantam was a (the!?!) bike for everyone!

Racing!
I love the part of the magneto system "By mounting a BTH chain driven racing magneto at the front of the cylinder, to replace the normal flywheel magneto." ... "And runs at half engine speed. This allows the engine to rev to 0-10.000 rpm without mechanically exploding the magneto"

What is A BSA BANTAM?
"The BSA Bantam is a phenomenon, in numerical terms, it's the most successful Britisch bike ever build, and over 30 years after the last one left the production line, thousands are still on the road"
The BSA Bantam Bible
I think it's simply one of the best looking bike's out there!
