I'm still riding the same Bantam!!
Back in the 1970's, I rode a 175cc BSA Bantam on L plates. I painted my (Fibreglass) helmet in Barry Sheen colours (Complete with the duck motif that missing from your excellent model). Sadly, that helmet is long gone. However, I'm still riding the same Bantam!!

Memory Lane
My first 'old' bike was a D1 BSA Bantam. That photo was taken in about '85? Note the spare oil and big chain and lock: it often broke down, which meant having to leave it all over London. By 1993 I'd ruined my gorgeous looks with facial hair, and had progressed to this '76 shovel, which I loved and was later stolen. This photo must have been around '94 because this photo appeared in the Iron Horse readers' pages that year! Wow, it made my day when I saw my letter had been published.

1970 Bsa Bushman 175cc
This is one of only 300 bushman bantams allocated for the UK market
all matching numbers with original reg number frame / engine numbers GBO5513 - BB175 and anyone that doesnt know only bushmans where prefixed BB175
these bikes where built for the australia market with high level pipe / trials tyres etc.
This bike was fully restored about 2 years ago by the previus owner it has been on show in a car showroom for the last 2 years.
We have just recommisioned the bike which started 2nd kick with fresh fuel but we have found a problem with the gear selection it is only selacting 2 gears so it will need to be looked at possibly something has come loose inside ?.
To view the bike or ask any questions.
