The Scottish Six Days Trial

Unarguably the greatest motorcycle trial in the world.

Since its origin in 1909, no other trial has captured the imagination of rider and spectator in the same way. Riders are lured to the SSDT from all over the world, and the event has the same status to trials riders as the Isle of Man TT has to road racers.

In a word, it's spectacular!

Ken Rumble Australia's Greatest allrounder and the Walsh Bantam

A famous photo of Ken Rumble on the the Walsh Bantam, winning the Victorian all powers title at St Helena, in 1952. It was Rumbles first ride on the Bantam.

Some very cool photo's and info. (found on ozvmx.com)

Top dead center

It's i bit tricky to now what your piston is at it's top dead center.
A old spark plug will fix this!
Get the old ceramic stuff out. A bit of hard silicone in and drill a center hole. (lathe)
Result A very handy tool!

Belstaff Trailmaster Jacket!

This is it, folks - get 'em while you can. It's the end of the ride for the very famous Belstaff Trialmaster jacket (which is also sometimes erroneously referred to as the Belstaff Trailmaster).
It's famous around the net! If you are a all day driver, casual, old or new. On or offroad!
Good enough to save the last man on earth!

Peggy Iris Thomas

A Ride in the Sun
"This must rank as one of the most famous motorcycle travel books of all time, but it is not that well known and deserves better recognition. This is an amazing adventure that captures your interest in people and places aswell as the bike." M. J. Tavener (England)

Also on the overland to egypt can you find a tribute about the journey of Peggy Iris Thomas. A must read for every Bantam fan.

Little something

The bantam trail bronk

Images are property of The Early Years of Motocross Museum, ®2006
The Western USA BSA importer - Hap Alzina in Oakland, California had asked BSA to build this machine for the U. S. market. Though this seemed like a good idea, Yamaha introduced the YG1 80cc trailbike at the same time and Hodaka would soon introduce the Ace 90. Another factor resulting in poor sales was the BSA dealers focus on the much larger 500cc and 650cc 4-stroke machines primarily intended for street use. The result was many Trail Broncs sat in the dealer show rooms and some - like the pictured example, were never sold!
